NCCU X NYCU WHO Simulation on Dec. 30, 2022💪
Learning from the narratives of different nations and emphasising global collaboration to promote health were my key takeaways from the WHO simulation. It provided a venue for us to take the role of WHO and be involved in the decision-making process, while applying the concepts of global health law. Thank you, Prof. Liu and Prof. Chi, for this experience!

NCCU+NYCU WHO simulation -used as a learning tool in the Global Health Governance course, WHO simulations recreate the proceeding of the World Health Assembly (WHA), decision-making body of WHO. A wonderful experience to participate in discussions of topics within a pre-defined theme for the conference e.g Infectious disease outbreak. As participants we were designated roles from diverse stakeholders: member states, media/press and WHO. coordination and collaboration skills applied in to practice as member states reps negotiate policy, merging and amending resolution and coming up with a final stand. Leading the WHA was an exciting and eye-opening experience! Thanks NYCU and NCCU for the Opportunity in this relevant course.
-Second-year Master student, Mpendulo Siyabonga Shabalala from Eswatini 🇸🇿
The Global Health Governance course and WHO simulation had given practical insights into how public health leaders respond to emerging public health treaths.
Professor Chi and Professor Lui are experts in their fields and has impacted my views on the which top public health organizations and how they work.
