PhD Progress Reports Dec. 2

.
I had the chance to attend the Ph.D. candidates' progress report in the International Health Program. The presenters demonstrated excellent knowledge of the topics, and the slides were interesting and original.
The first speaker discussed the impact of the transforming stress program on medical students' stress mindsets and coping strategies. This is a topic that is often overlooked and can negatively affect the well-being of medical
students on physiological and psychological levels. It was an outstanding presentation by Tan Nguyen with interesting results.
Another speaker discussed Health Services Utilization and Private Insurance Purchases under a Multi-Payer Universal Health System in Thailand. Arnat Wannasri carefully explained the difference between a single-payer system and a multi-payer system to give the audience a broad overview of this study's relevance and new findings.
It was a great presentation and both of you did a great job. I look forward to seeing your next presentation.
