- Required Fields
- At least six credits in one of these four fields: Health Policies, Infection and Immunity, Social and Behavioral Science, International Health and Environmental Health. Students must take 6 or more credits of courses related to their field of study.
- Graduate students must satisfactorily complete “Research Ethics” course on the Center for Taiwan Academic Research Ethics Education website before the end of second
semester of the first academic year. Students who fail to pass or incomplete the course shall complete it before applying for their degree examination. Students who do not complete the course may not apply for degree examination.
- Graduate Students shall take “Gender Equity Education Online Course” during their first semester at NYCU through the University’s online learning platform. They shall pass the online test in order to pass the course. Those who fail to reach the passing standard may retake the online test on the platform. 3. Those who fail to complete the course for some reason must complete it before graduation in order to graduate.

Notifications:
1.Qualifying assessment must be completed before the end of 3 years into Ph.D. study.
There are two parts for the qualifying assessment: paper exam and oral exam.
2.Written examination scores are given with 100 points as the maximum and 70 points as passing.
