Thanks to Dr. Allen Lien, course an introduction to applied vaccinology- from vaccine development, vaccine policy, to global health, we will have opportunity to visit MVC COVID-19 Vaccine company in Hsinchu on 12 May.
Here are some feedbacks of our first-year Ph. D student, Daniela Lucia Dominguez Bueso from Honduras.
Last Friday, as part of the Introduction to applied vaccinology course, we have the opportunity to visit Medigen Vaccine Biologics (MVC), The experience was truly enlightening and provided us with valuable insight into the world of vaccine production, particularly the GMP certification process, as well as a captivating tour of the manufacturing building. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly, and made us feel welcome. The professionalism and expertise demonstrated by the entire team were truly commendable.
The detailed explanation of the stringent quality standards and regulations that Medigen Vaccine Company adheres to was not only enlightening but also inspiring. It is evident the commitment to producing safe and effective vaccines is of utmost importance, and this dedication truly instills confidence in the work you do. The tour of the manufacturing building allowed us to witness the intricate steps involved in creating vaccines, from formulation to filling and packaging. Throughout the visit, I was impressed by the level of transparency and open communication from the team. The willingness to answer all our questions and address any concerns further added to the positive experience. I look forward to following the continued progress and advancements of Medigen Vaccine Company and its vital contributions to global health.
